How To Access Your Gmail Account In Outlook?



There are many e-mail providers are available on the internet and you want to add them in your Outlook, including Microsoft 365, Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, and Exchange accounts.
Some third-party email providers, like Gmail, Yahoo, and iCloud, require you to vary some settings on their websites before you'll add these accounts to Outlook.
With the latest update to Outlook, it's now easier to add a Gmail account to Outlook.
Ok so let's go with Microsoft 365.

Important: 

This new setup experience for Gmail and Outlook is going to be enabled for Outlook for Microsoft 365 customers slowly over the subsequent several weeks. If you do not see the precise screens shown here, see the subject Add an email account to Outlook for email setup instructions.
If you've previously added a Gmail account to Outlook for Microsoft 365, you'll receive a prompt to update your password.

These steps are equivalent to whether you're adding your first Gmail account or additional Gmail accounts to Outlook.



  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select File > Add Account.
  3. Enter your email address and click Connect.
  4. Now Outlook will open a window that will ask you for your Gmail password.
  5. Enter the password and select Sign in.
  6. The Google account permissions window appears. Click Allow.
  7. Once Outlook finishes adding your Gmail account, you'll add another email account or select Done.

If you have Microsoft Outlook 2010

1. Open Outlook 2010
2. Select File > Add Account.





3. Enter your email address and click Connect.



But please make sure you have Enabled the POP and IMAP

4. If you have enabled Two-factor authentication then click on manually configure and click Next.




5. Click on Internet E-mail and click Next



6. Fill the information carefully if you have enabled Two-factor authentication then don't enter your Gmail password(it won't work).
You have to enter App Password in the Space of Password.

For creating App passwords
Go to Your Google's main setting


Click on setting

Select App Passwords


Now select the Application which is Mail and operating system which is Window Computer
and click on Generate



Now your App password is Generated use it in the space of Password in outlook While Logging...




7. After entering App Password in the space of Password your Gmail will open in Outlook.
