How to Enable POP and IMAP Server in Gmail

If you would like to receive your google mails in outlook or the other e-mail client programs

What are IMAP and POP?

There are two methods to access email is IMAP and POP.
You can access your emails from different devices with the help of IMAP

IMAP allows you to access your email wherever you're, from any device.
When you have read all the emails using IMAP, you are only connected to their severs means you are not downloading or storing it on your computer.
As a result, you'll check your email from different devices, anywhere within the world your phone, a computer, a friend's computer.
IMAP only downloads a message once you click thereon, and attachments aren't automatically downloaded.
This manner you are able to see your messages tons more quickly than POP.

POP directly contact your email service provider and downloading all of your new messages from it This is how POP works.
Once they're downloaded onto your PC or Mac, they're deleted from the e-mail service.
This suggests that after the e-mail is downloaded, it can only be accessed using an equivalent computer.
If you are trying to access your email from a special device, the messages that are previously downloaded won't be available to you.
Sent mail is stored locally on your PC or Mac, not on the e-mail server.
A lot of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) offer you email accounts that use POP.
